Cub's Lake Park
Cub’s Lake Park
Cub’s Lake Park is located just west of Ash Grove at the intersection of Hwy 160 and N Farm Road 9. At the heart of this park is historic Cub’s Lake surrounded by 30+/- acres of woodlands.
The lake was constructed in the early 20th century by the Ash Grove White Lime Association. The original Pumping Station still stands at the corner of the lake, as a reminder of the fast-growing, industrious origins of Ash Grove and the rest of Boone Township.
A 1/2 mile nature trail hugs the lake and crosses through the wooded landscape. Picnic tables and benches are available to enjoy throughout the park.
